After revisiting the potential of 3D printing the last few weeks and looking into the current technology, the reality remains that the frequency I would need to print is something that I cant justify the financial outlay for, no matter how exciting it would be to have a 3D printer. Apart from the occasional need to print, I will instead outsource and use 3D printing services or purchase the pieces required. Learning the initial set up and then the design process would be amazing but sometimes you just have to be practical and not have a dust gatherer. So 3D printing for the second time will be put on the ‘one for the future’ list.
