Critical Care – The Game is designed by an Intensivist & Gameologist. Has code blue scenarios, but not sure if it has code brown for full immersion. Designed for the general public, health professions learners, and healthcare professionals – so for anyone. And just in case you thought board gaming was just Monopoly or Scrabble, reconsider. There is a diverse and creative industry and it’s increasing, even in the world of high technology. The social element and face-to-face interactions may be factors in the face of digital media. Even the popular ‘Kallax’ shelving unit from a well known Scandinavian furniture retailer benefits from the board game industry.
- Critical thinking understand more about the disease state
- Dealing with complications
- Balance workload focus and prioritise care
- See the complication with invasive procedures
- Social determinants of health

Note: I was one of the backers to purchase a copy on Kickstarter and here is my copy freshly arrived and unopened. Once over night shifts hope to get this to the table. No conflict of interest exists, I just like board games.
